Specialty fireproof doors made in fire-tight technology of classes EI30 and EI60 (according to PN-EN 13501-2: 2016-07).

Fire resistance classes EI30 and EI60 mean that the doors prevent the passage of flames and limit the flow of heat energy for (respectively) 30 and 60 minutes. If the door is fitted with a sill or a drop-down rail, it is possible to obtain the smoke resistance classes Sa, Sm (according to PN-EN 13501-2:2016-07).

El30, El60 complement the range of fire proof doors and technical windows equipped with a frame instead of a doorstep and without an external handle and insert.

Fire door specification

These classifications ensure that the doors allow time for escape during a fire. Public and large buildings should have a designated ‘Responsible Person’ to oversee and check local regulations to ensure compliance with the appropriate fire safety requirements.
