The construction works connected with the expansion of DAKO infrastructure, commenced in August 2016 have already been finished. An investment is a natural consequence of systematic growth in sales and expansion of company’s range of products. All activities were finished according to a pre-defined schedule. Over less than a year, new production and storage hall ensuring DAKO the additional space of 5 200m2 has been built. The investment also included a supprting infrastructure around the hall such as car parkings, access roads and maneuvering yard. Total cost of the investment covering the purchase of new production machinery and the line modernisation was approximately 6 mln zl. The commissioning date has been scheduled for the second quarter of 2017

This year, the company has implemented another state-of-the-art technological solution that will streamline the plant’s operations and speed up order completion. As part of our partnership with URBAN POLSKA, we bought a modern automatic steel cutting machine – Schirmer type SZA 450.
DAKO consistently adopts innovative technologies to deliver the highest quality joinery to customers around the world. Lately, a new welding robot, the SL4 FF EVO RS, supplied by Fimtec Polska, has arrived on the PVC manufacturing floor. The machine will significantly improve the production processes of PVC joinery and further improve the precision of welding.
The testing was carried out in Great Britain at the test laboratory of BSI. The successful testing demonstrated the enhanced security of specific joinery models and is often specified in the UK market and part of guidance for windows and doorsets to comply with Building Regulations in new dwellings.
